Ready, set, GO!

Tomorrow, I'll set off to a completely foreign place, Canberra, the Australian Capital Territory. However, a lot of people has mistakenly assumed that Sydney, or Melbourne is the Capital Territory. Because not many people have actually heard of Canberra (pronounced as ken-brra).

Canberra, is similar to Putrajaya in Malaysia. It's the city of administration, politics and government buildings. Apart from these, people hardly go there for sightseeing. In other words, it's the "lonely planet". But it's also the place where the best university of Australia located, gathering the smart peeps and nerds.

Leaving your home country for study, is not easy. From the day I received the offer letter from ANU (on 21st of May), to my flight date, I have roughly (less than) 7 weeks to get everything ready. Getting the student visa, doing medical check-up, dental check-up, haircut, packing luggage, packing luggage, and, packing luggage, again and again. Yes I admit that luggage is the nightmare part.

Had a few farewell, meetup, gathering with a lot of people. Thanks for the gifts, angpaos, wishes, hugs and kisses. Great memory before I leave to Australia.

Special message to Siew Thong: You're leaving as well! The picture that we had is perhaps the only picture we could take together in the coming 3 years. Gonna miss you so much! Keep in touch in Skype! You know, UK and Australian students can hardly meet with each other. =/

My flight is on 7th of July, at 10.10pm.
