Graduated!

I was extremely exhausted. Burdened myself with numerous examinations, and now I've finally done with it!

I've graduated with a Diploma in Hospitality Management with the highest mention of "Very Honourable Pass With Congratulations From The Jury" and received the Les Palmes du Directeur Award. I am proud of myself, really. All my hard work has paid off!

Yesterday the ceremony was a bittersweet one. While lot of my mates were disappointed with their result, I was surprised too of the standard the French juries have set. Out of 137 students in DH30, 130 students passed with only 5 people achieved the highest mention (3.8%). 4 girls 1 guy, Mr. Patrick said apparently I've maintained the standard from the previous batches, the only male to shine.

I would like to thank all my college mates for the trust in me throughout 2 years of studies, from the election of Class Representative to Financial Controller (twice) and Vice President in the events we worked our ass off.

And of course, our lecturers. Without you all, I would not have achieved what I wanted.

Monsieur Yeoh: For your Greatest French lectures. By the way do inform me about my DELF A1 result! Whee~

Mr. Alex: 1 year of F&B classes. Although I've always disappointed you with my serving skill but I dare say that I've done my best in the Final Examination. Thanks so much for your guidance.

Ms. Suzanne: Oh I would never forget your Sales & Marketing and Law classes! I could never been happier and more eager for your classes. Rock on!

Mr. Gopi: You'd been helping me a lot in the essay-writing for the Tourism paper, and thanks for the tips of course!

Mr. Mayukh: Beverage studies! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and now I've known more about liquors, beers, cocktails, wines etc.

Ms. Charmaine, Ms. Ruth & Ms. Lay Bee: Rooms Division lecturers, from Front Office to Housekeeping. And perhaps the most interesting practical subjects for me.

Chef Shaari, Chef Azura, Chef Kartina, Chef Tan: The greatest chefs of all time! You've taught me from a guy who doesn't cook to someone who actually can cook good food!

Mr. Kwong: I love maths! And that's why I'm continuing in Bachelors of Commerce =) And not to forget the charity event we've done last year.
